Research paper for the NYU Class Advanced Musical Acoustics that provides a thorough overview on the principles of Ultrasonic Microphone Jammers.
Two research papers were written–both of which utilized sources ranging from commonly-available websites to thoroughly peer-reviewed academic papers from IEEE. The first paper is a thorough analysis on the Ultrasonic Microphone Jammer, its design considerations, and metrics for evaluation. The second is an overview of Audio Surveillance and Acoustic Attacks throughout history.
Both documents were made with this Typst template. Typst is a modern typesetting language akin to systems like LaTeX, just with less boilerplate and real-time compilation.
