Bio: Silas Wang is a Music Technology student at NYU Steinhardt on the 5-year Bachelors / Masters track. His interests are sound design, electronic music production, hardware and software product design, and signal processing. His studies thusfar at NYU has emphasized disciplines such as Recording Technology, Electronics, Computer Science (Operating Systems, Basic Algorithms), and Music Theory.
He is actively involved in the Music Technology community at NYU, being one of the main figures behind the student-run style-agnostic MTech Invasion concert, which features ten acts of various styles within the Music Technology program. Additionally, he is apart of the leadership for the newly founded NYU GenAudio club, who is committed to fostering a learning environment bridging Creativity and Artificial Intelligence at a broad level.
This website was made entirely out of Markdown files using the Obsidian text editor. This website uses Quartz, a static-site generator that interfaces very nicely with Obsidian markdown files, and is hosted on GitHub Pages.
