Bio: Silas Wang studies Music Technology, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering at NYU. His interests are twofold:
- Creating products that give artists agency to create expressive art
- Teaching these accomplishments as accessibly as possible
His studies thusfar at NYU has been interdisciplinary: focusing on Recording Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Music Theory. His interests by proxy lie within the aforementioned disciplines above. Namely,

- Teaching
He is actively involved in the Music Technology community at NYU, being one of the main figures behind the student-run style-agnostic MTech Invasion concert, which features ten acts of various styles within the Music Technology program. Additionally, he is apart of the leadership for the newly founded NYU GenAudio club, who is committed to fostering a learning environment bridging Creativity and Artificial Intelligence at a broad level.
Some of the things he enjoys during his free time is playing video games, creating art with technology, and leg days at the gym.
This website was made entirely out of Markdown files using the Obsidian text editor. This website uses Quartz, a static-site generator that interfaces very nicely with Obsidian markdown files, and is hosted on GitHub Pages.
